Emptiness is a term that I personally refer to great memories and at the same time a devastating desire to create, to produce something new. Emptiness understood throughout the extent of its meaning, produces in me "something" that is of the very word and makes more than commonly can mean. It is a concept conceived as a reference in my painting and I am convinced that with me throughout this long and complicated journey.
In terms of Chinese painting (referring to work on my run mode) emptiness is always present and is undoubtedly a key part of the artist's creative network. Nothing can be understood without emptiness, not even the most portentous of chaos.
We will be completely wrong if we think the painting for the sole purpose of being a mere aesthetic object, when actually what we are dealing with that little window that opens before our eyes is the sort of chaos, of a macrocosm, an open space conducive to the true vision of life and human action possible. The artist comes along that nature to give encouragement that which follows from its action, thus shortness of breath at work, lack of meaning to stir up the deepest of our perceptions, the paint will mediocre display.
The "system painting" is not content with playing an outward appearance of things, seeks rather to discern between their internal lines of composition, whatever shape it. The intersection of strokes enabled by shadow and light (light that possibly referred to the El Greco), to scrape and remove the veil of reality thus showing the true appearance of things around us, bringing to light all darkness or in other words something to fill the vacuum plenum (obvious).
